Sgt. Wagner Dies After Auto Crash

(Oct. 8, 1942) -- Sgt. Louis Wagner, 24, of Stephens Street, was killed Oct. 2 following an auto crash in Macon, Ga.

Wagner served with the 901st School Squadron at Cochran near Macon.

Wagner had been in the service for 15 months.

He was buried with military honors in Newark.
