In our research we came upon news accounts of these young men from Belleville, N.J., who were listed as missing in action or prisoners of war.

We do not know all who came home or all who did not.

This listing is likely incomplete but it is a reminder of the additional sacrifices our Belleville sons paid for our freedom.
