Francis C. Mc Enery was killed over Belgium on Jan. 4.
Edward P. Wood was killed in North Africa on Jan. 10.
Joseph LaPenta, of Eugene Place, was killed in Italy on Jan. 21.
John Rogers, of Birchwood Drive, was MIA before February 1944.
Robert S. Taylor, of Joralemon Street, was killed overseas before
February.
Nicholas Del Grosso, of Mt. Prospect, was KIA in Italy on Feb. 20.
Salvatore Sena, of Heckel Street, was KIA in Italy on April 8.
Morris Catalano, of Belleville Avenue, was KIA at Anzio, Italy, on May 14.
William B. Jones was killed over Europe on May 27.
Ralph Ledogar, of Floyd Street, was KIA over Germany on May 30.
Hector Mc Neill, of Cedar Hill Avenue, was killed at Anzio on June 1.
Patrick J. Barbone, of Eugene Place, was killed over Europe on June 2.
Joseph Razes, of Brighton Avenue, died in the South Pacific on June 2.
Herman M. Doell was KIA in Europe on June 6.
Albert Lariviere, of Tappan Avenue, was KIA at Normandy on June 6.
Carmen Olivo, of Magnolia Street, was killed during the invasion of France
on June 6.
Lee White, of Ralph Street, was killed during the invasion of France on
June 8.
Arthur Burke, of Washington Avenue, was killed during the Normandy
invasion on June 9.
Edward R. Henris, of Washington Avenue, was killed in Europe on June 9.
Ronald McCormack was MIA in Normandy on June 9.
Harry Nyegaard, of Main Street, was killed in Saipan on June 19.
Emil Ostrowski, of Union Avenue, was killed in France in June.
Steveno Mosco, of Honiss Street, was KIA in Normandy on July 27.
Victor R. Bruegman, of Malone Avenue, was killed over Hungary on July 2.
John J. Daly was KIA in Normandy on July 4.
Angelo Guarino, of Carmer Avenue, was KIA in France on July 18.
Wallace Reed, of Van Houten Place, was KIA in France on Aug. 6.
Albert E. Pole, of Washington Avenue, was killed in Guam Aug. 7.
Gerald Strigari died in Brooklyn on Aug. 10.
Robert Stecker, of Beech Street, was KIA in France on August 15.
James T. White, of Holmes Street, was KIA in Italy on Aug. 16.
Robert C. Taylor, of Bremond Street, was killed near Bermuda on Aug. 20.
John Kirwin, of Forest Street, was killed in the South Pacific on Sept. 5.
Glenn C. Nelson, of Washington Avenue, was missing in a hurricane Sept.
12.
William Mears, of Jefferson Street, was KIA in the South Pacific on Sept.
15.
John Verian, of Washington Avenue, was KIA in Germany on Sept. 18.
Leonard Willette, of Stephens Street, was KIA in France
on Sept. 22.
William Salmon, of DeWitt Avenue, was KIA in Palue Islands on Sept. 23.
George Skeen died of wounds on Oct. 19.
Giavanni Bocchino, of Lake Street, was killed in the South Pacific on Oct.
25.
Joseph A. Masi, of Lake Street, was KIA in France on Oct. 25.
Joseph Zecca, of Fairway Avenue, was killed in Italy on Oct. 29.
Louis Jannarone, of Passaic Avenue, died in Washington, D.C., on Oct. 31.
Arthur Leithauser was KIA in France on Nov. 2.
Joseph J. Cifrodella, of Magnolia Street, was lost at sea on Nov. 4.
William Hourigan, of Tiona Avenue, was killed in the Philippines about
Nov. 5.
Harry Ward Jr., of DeWitt Avenue, was MIA in the Philippines on Dec. 12.
Patrick J. Hoey, of Prospect Street, was killed in Germany on Dec. 14.
John J. Miller Jr., of Elmwood Avenue, was KIA on Saipan.
William H. Deighan was KIA over the English Channel Dec. 30.
Let the people of Belleville forget none of the 117 who
died in WWII, the 20
who died in WWI, the 4 who died in Korea, the 11 who died in Vietnam, or
those Belleville Sons who died in service during peace time.
